A collaboration project with interior architect Katrine Aasbø. We were hired to transform an old loft into two teenage bedrooms. After visiting the site and discussing their needs and desires for their new spaces we developed a concept adapted to their needs for today and for years to come. Sloped ceilings are always a challenge, in this case we chose drawers along the lower part of the room to maximize wardrobe space and a built in open storage solution on each side of the new wall the separate the two rooms. Here we added space for hanging clothes and displaying items. We also added a seating area for relaxing or offering extra seating for guests.
